Why Music Day ?
Music is an important part of life; it plays a key role in ceremonies, social and cultural activities and brings people together. It encourages individuality, freedom of expression and teamwork. Have you met someone that doesn't love Music? Why June 21? Before attending NAMM in 2015 I did not know Music is celebrated world wide on June 21st. I thought we should join them and decided to spread the word. Why "Make Music Day ?" It's catchy and all about audience participation. Encouraging live participation in all places and at all levels on June 21 recognises Music and supports the Music Industry. What's next ? Put Make Music Day June 21 on your calendar.
